走红大街小巷的不朽情歌，被张国荣翻唱为《梦里蓝天》。
Glenn Frey，The Eagles的创立成员，并且与Don Henley一起担任主唱。老鹰合唱团的特色是有着整齐优美的和声。这些和声编排大多是Frey的功劳（尤其是乐团成立初期），因此团员们给了他一个外号叫“The Lone Arranger”（西部片和卡通《独行侠》的谐音）。
老鹰乐队应该说是天才中的天才，说它是美国最伟大的摇滚乐团，一点也不为过。他们的专辑的销量超过了其他所有的美国乐队。
1979年乐队解散之后，Glenn Frey单独发展，1982年发表了首张个人专辑《No Fun Aloud》，这首《The One You Love》就是这张专辑里的一首歌曲。
